We at Smartlabz have put together a team of experienced educators who designed a course aligned to STAAR Readiness Standards to help “bridge the gap” for all age group of Students. By enrolling to this course Students will make the connections to boldly step into the next school year!
For Grades 6-8, we recommend 3 classes per week. Each class is upto 45 min live online class with a dedicated teacher.
Post Diagnostic Tests
Summer Courses at Smartlabz have been designed with the aim to bridge the skill gap caused by the school closure during the summer break. We recommend that children should continue to practice the critical skills during summer to overcome the challenges during the upcoming school year.
To understand your child’s need we administer a diagnostic test before the first session. This offline assignment comes with free of cost and will measure the areas of weakness for your child. The course is then tailored for your child based on the diagnostic test results. You are free to share with us any test report from the school. Our courses will be customised as per your child’s performance in the recent school or state testing
The course covers up to 8 topics in 8 weeks. All the topics and Assessments are aligned to STAAR Readiness and Supporting Standards. These topics will help your child master the previous year skills and introduce to the next grade critical skills.
Your child will be expected to achieve a target mastery score that meets the global standards for every topic. Failing to meet the target, the Tutor will review the topic and then help achieve mastery.
Your child will be provided with an access to unlimited worksheets. The questions are engineered to match the state expectations.
You will have access to all the session records, mastery score, interim assessments scores and post test scores. You can monitor your child’s progress closely by accessing these reports.
The course validity start date will be the date on which you will schedule your first Tutoring session. It is not the purchase date. You can purchase now and learn later as per your convenience.
Yes. Your child will be assigned with a preferred Tutor throughout the course. If you wish to change the Tutor for any reason in between the course, we would be glad to accommodate the same.
